Happy new year to you and your families!

The Work of Christmas Begins

When the carols have been stilled,
When the star-topped tree is taken down,
When family and friends are gone home,
When we are back to our schedules
The work of Christmas begins:
To welcome the refugee,
To heal a broken planet,
To feed the hungry,
To build bridges of trust, not walls of fear,
To share our gifts,
To seek justice and peace for all people,
To bring Christ’s light to the world.

- by Michael Dougherty, a variation on Howard Thurman’s ‘When the Song of the Angels is Stilled’

Synod 2021-2023

As many of you are aware, the diocesan phase of Synod 2021-2023 began with a Mass in October. Questions can now be found in nine languages at: https://cathol.lu/article9601. An adapted version for members of the school community will be issued soon.

Lent 2022

There will be an opportunity for the families of Lux I and Lux 2 to attend an evening of catechesis together.
Details to follow.

To be rescheduled

Mass for Primary students and their families
and
Guided tour of the Basilica of Echternach

Unfortunately, these two events were postponed, due to the growing number of positive Covid-19 cases in the school community. New dates will be announced in the near future.

A chaplaincy team will soon meet, consisting of the RCA coordinators from Lux I and Lux 2, two additional RCA teachers, two RCA students and two parents whose child(ren) is (are) enrolled in RCA classes and myself.
